My condolences to the family of Ronnie. He went to school with my wife Joanne Scott Davis at Zanesfield. Ronnie came to a memorial service I had for Joanne back in September 2015 at the Zanesfield cemetary. He was able to join us for a reception at my nieces in West Liberty after the service. It was great to see him and we talked at length as it was many years since we last saw each other. He was an exceptional person of which I'm sure will be missed by the family. Please accept my sincere condolences and god bless the family. Ed Davis, leesburg Fla.

We were saddened to hear the news of Ron's passing. His friendship to us and our grandchildren (he would take them all out on Indian Lake in his pontoon boat and we would spend much of the day just cruising the lake. On one especially windy day, water began to pour on the deck from the bow of the boat and we all had to move quickly to the stern area to avoid major problems!). We appreciated the many years of sharing fellowship and meals with Ron in the small group we led at Calvary Baptist Church as well as his friendship and help more than once with electrical issues in our home. We counted him as a dear friend!
