Patricia S. (Stockton) Zook

November 4, 1932 ~ October 25, 2018 (age 85)

Patricia S. Zook, age 85, of West Liberty, Ohio passed away at 9:20 P.M. Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Green Hills Community in West Liberty.

She was born in San Antonio, Texas November 4, 1932, to the late John M. and Lorraine M. (Maley) Stockton.

On June 5, 1954, she married Col. David H. Zook and he preceded her in death October 4, 1967. 

She is survived by her daughters, Lydia L. (Roger F. Kressly) Zook of Orlando, Florida, and Alice Zook Garrett of Edmond, Oklahoma; a son, David (Cheryl) Zook of Herndon, Virginia; grandchildren, Jarod J. Zook, and Brittany Layne Garrett; great grandchildren, Madeline Rose Steiner and Cooper Zook.

Patricia was a retired teacher of thirty years at Graham Local Schools. She was the president of Delta Kappa Gamma. Patricia started the Red Hat Ladies Society locally, and was very involved with high school ministries at the Bethel Mennonite Church. She loved traveling, shopping, and gardening.  Patricia was considered a “Diva” because of her lifestyle and fashion. She was funny and had a great sense of humor.  Patricia was creative and won first prize at the Leading Age Art Show and moved on to win the state competition. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3 to 6 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty.

Pastors Cheryl Shank and Chuck Swartz will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 29, 2018, at the Bethel Mennonite Church in West Liberty. ​

Burial will be at the South Union Cemetery in West Liberty. 

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty.
