Amy Nicole Greer

Amy Nicole Greer, 39, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio

She was born in Sidney, Ohio on December 30, 1981, the daughter of the late Paulette (Branscum) Fox and Keith Fox, who survives in Bellefontaine.

On May 10, 2008, she married Lanny R. Greer Jr. at Fox Island, Indian Lake and he survives in Bellefontaine.

She is also survived by two children: Lyric and Quest Clay (at home), a sister, Amanda Fox of Burnside, KY, her aunts & uncles: Mark (Tammy) Branscum of Jackson Center, Shelley (Rick) Ferguson of Sidney, Claudette (James Gaylor) Branscum of Burnside, KY, Walter Fox of Washington Court House, Dody Prater of McArthur, two nephews, Mikeal & Chase Greer, her father-in-law, Lanny Greer, Sr. of Columbus, a brother-in-law, Darrell Greer of McArthur, and a sister-in-law, Anna Clay, of Columbus.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by an infant child, her grandparents, Paul & Marjorie Branscum and Walter & Dixie Fox.

Amy was a 2000 graduate of Fairlawn High School and worked as a Biological Science Technician at Battelle in Columbus.  She took so much pride and loved the work she did and always did her absolute best to keep our armed forces safe.

Amy was an amazing wife and mother to her family and loved to spend time with her extended family.  She loved to go on adventures and see things she had never seen; she was one of a kind and to know her was to love her.  She was strong, STUBBORN, sassy and spoke her mind, but she also took care of everyone before herself and always tried to do the right thing.

She enjoyed baking, and loved to nourish the souls of others, either by sending random gifts or flowers or by baking and cooking lots of goodies for friends and family.  She was always there to lend a helping hand.  She was also a talented artist, loved to sing, and was an absolute joy to be around and she will be missed deeply by her friends and family.
