Bonnie L. Nichols, 74, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 1:09 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born in Yonkers, New York, on January 1, 1951, to the late Harlow A. and Edith Almeda (Dressing) Hay.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Don Charles (Cheryl) Nichols Jr., and Christopher Allen (Jenni) Nichols; grandchildren, Tamara (Larry) Frazier, and Kylo Nichols; great grandchildren, Dalton, Marek, and Charley Frazier; brother, Robert A. Hay; sister, Almeda Dworetsky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Bonnie was also preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Marie Hay.

Bonnie had a deep appreciation for art, gardening, horses, and puzzles. She took great pleasure in bird watching, with a particular fondness for cardinals. Bonnie also enjoyed watching old westerns and dog shows. Her passion for music was evident, especially classical music, as well as genres from the 1950s and folk country. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and cherished her.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
