Carolyn Eileen Tuttle

Carolyn Eileen Tuttle, 74, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Logan Acres Senior Community in Bellefontaine.

She was born in Logan County Ohio September 2, 1946, a daughter of the late Fredrick J. and Opal Dayle (McPherson) Hollopeter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: Meril Huffman and Lauren Ledley and a nephew, Greg Ledley.


Carolyn is survived by two sons: Darrin (Bruce) Dill of San Francisco, California and James (Kimberly) Tuttle of Jupiter, Florida; two grandsons, Kyle and Austin Tuttle; four siblings, Marilyn Huffman of West Mansfield, Ohio, Nancy Ledley of Ridgeway, Ohio, John (Toni) McPherson and D. Tim McPherson all of Bellefontaine. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.

Carolyn attended Bellefontaine City Schools and was a licensed LPN and worked at Mary Rutan Hospital for many years and attended the Church of the Brethren in Bellefontaine. Carolyn loved to bird watch, go on walks, lay in the sun, go to the beach and just spend time outdoors.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to California or Florida to visit her sons.

The Tuttle family would like to thank Dr. Gleason and the staff at Logan Acres for their loving care.

Carolyn’s wish was to be cremated. The family is planning a memorial service for a later date.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Tuttle family.
