Charles Carothers

Charles W. Carothers, 92 of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2011, at Heartland of Bellefontaine. Charles was born in Defiance, Ohio May 3, 1919, to the late William Lloyd and Helen Louise Miller Carothers.

Charles is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Don and Sherry Lee Carothers and a sister and brother in law Sally and Carroll Holycross, all of Bellefontaine, and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Joseph Carothers and four sisters, Shirley Peck, Avonell Johns, Ruthie Carothers and Joann Carothers.

He had worked as a construction worker and enjoyed being outdoors, taking walks and fishing.

There will be no services or visitation at this time, and interment will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
