Charles Thomas “Tom” Norman, Jr., 68, of Russells Point, passed away Saturday morning, March 11, 2023, at his home.
Tom was born in Williamson, West Virginia, on January 23, 1955, to the late Charles Thomas Norman, Sr. and Florence (Grubb) Norman Kennedy. He was also preceded in death by his son Chipper Norman, and step-father Ron Kennedy.
Tom married Lanette (Bowersock) on November 27, 2002, and she survives in Russells Point. He is also survived by daughters: Katie Norman, Jennifer Norman, both of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Kylee Norman of Lima; step-daughter Shelly Hawkins of Wapakoneta; step-son Ben Tenwalde of Wapakoneta; several grandchildren, including Jocee Tenwalde; 2 brothers: James “Doug” Norman of Mason, and Keith “Mike” Norman of Wapakoneta; and several nieces and nephews.
A 1973 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, Tom worked in several factories, most recently at Honda Transmission as a material service handler for 7 years. He was a member of the Indian Lake Moose and Eagles. Tom was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.
There will be no services at this time, the family will be having a celebration of Tom’s life at a later date.
