Christy Nicholle (Martin) Newman

January 30, 1978 — November 10, 2022

Rushsylvania

Christy Nicholle (Martin) Newman, 44, of Rushsylvania, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was born in Kenton, Ohio, on January 30, 1978, to John (Dawn) Martin and Deb (Don) Profitt who survive.

On May 15, 2009, she married Joseph Newman, and he survives along with their children: Rhys Bervas, Rhett Newman, and Regan Newman. She is also survived by her sister, Misty Centers; 3 aunts: Cathy (Zane) Mathys, Christine (Doug) Casey, and Jan (Jon) Stout; an uncle, Jeff (Kim) Kellog-Martin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and special friends.

Christy loved her family very much, especially her kids. She was so proud of each of them and supported them in all of their activities. She found much joy in being a “baseball mom”. She was an animal lover, enjoyed the outdoors, camping, going to Notre Dame football games with Joe, being out on the farm, and sunbathing to get her vitamin D. She was always the life of the party, dancing around and having a good time. She was so welcoming and would open her home for gatherings so she could entertain everyone and spend time with those she loved.

Pastor Jeremy Spence will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.

EICHHOLTZ DARING & SANFORD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, BELLEFONTAINE is honored to serve the Newman family.
