Cynthia Crawford

Cynthia “Cindy” Crawford, 86, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 2:33 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at her home. She was born in Floyd County, Kentucky on April 19, 1939, to the late Greenland and Mary Ann (Higgins) Jones.

On May 1, 1958, she married Robert E. Crawford, and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1982.

Cindy is survived by her significant other of 41 years, Larry Reames; daughters, Tammy Lou Harris and Paula Diane Kindle; grandchildren, Michael Lynn (Theresa Dobson) Crawford, Paul Eugene (Bertie) Dick, Mary Ann Hilliard, Robert T. James, and Heather Lynn Burk; several great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; a special niece, Pamela Sue Wilson; and several other nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, and husband, Cindy was also preceded in death by her siblings, Rollie, Girlie, Savanaha, Zellie Jo, Zellmie, Meverly and Severly; and one great grandchild.

Cindy was a butterfly collector who enjoyed soap operas and westerns. She was a talented cook, an Elvis Presley fan, and cherished time with family and friends.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral on Wednesday, May 14th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
