D. Harvey Claypool

D. Harvey Claypool, 84, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023, at his home.

Harvey was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, on November 5, 1938, to the late Earl Leslie and Helen Pearl (Fisher) Claypool. 

Harvey married Deanna J. Farley on July 5, 1987, in Jackson Center, Ohio, and she survives in Bellefontaine.  He is also survived by 2 sons, a daughter, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, a brother, and 2 step-daughters.

Harvey graduated from Canton Timken Technical High School.  He then graduated with an Engineering degree from Ohio University and worked as a self-employed subcontractor specializing in Process Piping. He loved to fish, hunt, and work on antique radios.  Harvey was a “Jack-of-all-trades” and master of most of them.

There will be no services at this time for Harvey.
