Danny Michael McDonald

Danny M. McDonald, age 74, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away Monday morning, May 25, 2020, at Mary Rutan Hospital in the Emergency Department in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Danny was born in Bellefontaine December 30, 1945, to the late Wardner and Patricia (Dolph) Williams.  He married Marilyn J. (Liles) McDonald and she preceded him in death October 16, 2011.  Danny was also preceded in death by a sister, Pam McDonald.

Danny is survived by his life-partner, Linda Scharf; his children, Danette (John) Rohrs, Lance Miller, Shannon (Douglas Feltner) McDonald-Hicks, Mitzi (Scott) Crawford and Shawn McDonald; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary (Cheryl) McDonald and his beloved dog, Bug-Z.

A Vietnam Veteran, Danny proudly served in the United States Navy.  He retired from Super Foods after thirty years of work.  Danny enjoyed playing cards, loved to travel, hunt and fish.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held Friday, May 29, 2020, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center, with military honors provided by members of the Logan County Honor Guard at 3 p.m.
