On August 17, 1996, Darren married Jennifer Catherine (Burch) Argabright in Botkins, Ohio, and she survives, along with their three children, Evan (fiancé Kelsie McKinney) Argabright, Megan Argabright, and Marin Argabright; two sisters, Trena Hershberger, and Karen (Wesley) Fambrough; a nephew, Owen Hershberger; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Scott & Kathleen Lotz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Casey & Stephanie Cordonnier and their children Lauren and Madison Cordonnier, Cory Burch, Braden and & McKenzie Lotz and their children Reagan, Kate, Paige Lotz, and Garret & Kendall Lotz and their children Emma and Grant Lotz; his Godmother, Jane Wright; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his dog Chewbacca “Chewy”. In addition to his father, Darren was preceded in death by his father-in-law, James Burch.
A livestock and grain farmer, Darren passionately cared for his vocation and more importantly, his family. He possessed a gift for breeding and raising show pigs with his family. He loved to attend the county fairs, state fair, and jackpot shows with his family and friends. He enjoyed Thursday evenings…eating wings, playing cards, and drinking Crown Royal with his friends and family. Darren was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns and loved to deer hunt, snowmobile, camp, travel with close friends, and most especially spend time with his family and friends.
