Dennis Charles Walter, 49, of DeGraff, passed away surrounded by his family on July 25, 2020. Dennis was employed by CSX Railroad where he established many lifelong friendships.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Krista. Together, they shared four children; Courtnie (Shane) Judy of Jackson Center, Megan Wiley of Marion, Cody (Chelsie) Walter of Cincinnati, Tanner (Kelsey) Wiley of DeGraff; and two grandsons, Caden and Casen. Dennis is also survived by his parents, Alice and Chris Stahler; as well as siblings, Darrin Walter, Doug Walter, Amber Walter, Holly Walter and Adam Stahler. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Walter.
Dennis enjoyed family most of all, but also traveling, camping and most everything outdoors. He was a Member of the Bellefontaine First Family Assembly of God. He served our country for 8 years in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Hood, TX.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Bellefontaine First Family Assembly of God in Bellefontaine, Ohio, where a memorial service will begin at 12 noon with Pastor John Musgrave officiating. Military honors will be performed by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard following the service.
In accordance with COVID-19 protective measures, it is requested that guests in attendance practice social distancing and wear masks.
