Don B. McGee

Don B. McGee, age 99, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at Logan Acres Senior Community in Bellefontaine.

He was born in Logan County Ohio October 3, 1922, to the late Paul L. and Minnie (Queweweit) McGee. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Alice May McGee; his second wife, Norma Miller; two daughters: Rebecca and Suellen Gray and two sisters, Irene and Ruth.

He is survived by his significant other, Viola Bishop; a stepdaughter, Linda (Joe) Galluzzo; grandchildren: Patrick (Cassie) Gray, Wesley (July) Gray and Brittany Gray; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Don was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the First Christian Church in Bellefontaine, where he was the oldest living member. He graduated in 1940 from Lakeview High School and loved to play BINGO and go to the casino.

Reverend Kevin Greenwald will officiate a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the memorial service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery, where military rites will be performed by the Logan County Honor Guard.
