Donald "Don" R. Tudor

Donald “Don” R. Tudor, 91, of Rushsylvania, went home to see the Lord and the big reunion in Heaven on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in OhioHealth Marion General Hospital, Marion, OH.

He was born in Forrest, Ohio on August 15, 1931, the son of the late William O. and Pauline S. (Houchin) Tudor.  He was also preceded in death by seven brothers, William, Jim, Dale, Ronnie, Bob, and Chuck Tudor, and a sister, Naomi Eileen Williams.

On November 7, 1954, he married the former Florence Blair in Big Springs, Ohio and she survives, along with their daughter, Mary E. (Roy) Escamilla of Bellefontaine, a step grandson, Anthony (Jane) Escamilla and step great grandchildren, Sabreena Escamilla and Eric Escamilla, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald was a U.S. Veteran of the United States Air Force and had worked for National Extrusion in the shipping department for 37 years.  He was a longtime member of the Ridgeway Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder.  He also served on the Rush Creek Volunteer Fire and EMS for a number of years.  He loved family reunions and spending time with his family.

Pastor Cory Savage will officiate a funeral service on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home and burial will be in Rushsylvania Cemetery with military honors provided by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.
