Emma Elizabeth Powell

Emma Elizabeth (Bradley) Powell went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2025

Emma was born in Logan County on July 3, 1936. After graduating from Kenton High School, she would marry the love of her life, Robert D. Powell, on December 8, 1953. They would settle in Bellefontaine, where they raised two sons. Emma worked for Siemens in Bellefontaine and Urbana where she retired after 31 years.

Emma was a proud military wife, loving mother and grandmother, but her greatest joy was her great grandkids. She could be found cheering them on in all their endeavors. She was their biggest fan.

Emma leaves behind her sons, Chris F. (Karen) Powell, and Keith Powell; grandchildren, Carrie (JR) Johnson, David (Erynne) Powell, and James Powell; great grandchildren, Annariah Thomas, Chris M. Powell, Aiden, Hunter, and Remington Johnson, and Lincoln Powell; great-great grandson, Harper Kellenberger; step-grandchildren, Kyle (Julie) Yohey, and Brandon (Nikki) Yohey; step-great grandchildren, Dexyn, Vyla, and Merida Yohey; and she will also be missed by her best friend, Barb Biddle.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service in Grove Cemetery, 15419 State Route 309, Kenton beginning at 1:00 p.m.
