James C. Bodi

James C. Bodi, age 76, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening, October 9, 2019 at his home.

Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio March 23, 1943, to the late Thomas John Edward and Cora Eleanor (Gillenwaters) Bodi.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter Peggy Sue Bodi; a sister-in-law, Karen Tschudy and a brother-in-law, George Mohn.

Jim is survived by his wife, Susan (Mohn) Bodi, whom he married in 1984.  He is also survived by sons Tom (Betty ) Bodi of Huntsville, Ohio and Chad Mohn of Shelby; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four siblings, Eleanor Peters of West Liberty, Ohio, John (Carol) Bodi of Lima, Ohio, William Bodi of Roundhead, Ohio and Janet Doss of Lakeview, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Gloria (Kevin) Skidmore of Belle Center and Sharon Mohn of Kenton, Ohio; a brother-in-law, John Tschudy of Sevierville, Tennessee and Jim’s four-legged buddy, Chance.

Jim worked as a butcher at Logan Packing, Sturgis, S&G Meats, and most recently at Stemble’s.  He was a member of the NRA, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling.  Jim was proud to be Donald Trump supporter.

Jim’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services at this time.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
