James C. Kobylack

James C. Kobylack, 75, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the Dayton VA Hospice Center.

James was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 17, 1948, to the late Leroy Nance and Juanita (York) Kobylack.

He married Sondra S. Burns on July 29, 1972, and she survives him in Bellefontaine. James is also survived by his sons: John Edward Kobylack and James Leroy (Malika) Kobylack; his daughter Arletha (James Loescher) Donovan; six grandchildren; and two brothers: Richard (Alice) Kobylack and Mike Kobylack.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, James proudly served during the Vietnam War aboard an aircraft carrier. He showed unwavering dedication to both his country and fellow servicemen.

Throughout his life, James worked tirelessly in various roles within the grocery stores and fast food establishments he served. Priding himself on his work ethic and commitment to excellence, James left a lasting impression wherever he went. Most recently, he had been employed with Acrux Security at Honda.

There will be no services held at this time.
