James R. Baker

James R. Baker, age 69, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 2:40 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Logan Acres Senior Community in Bellefontaine.

He was born September 23, 1950, a son of the late Pat and Phyllis (Manahan) Baker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lucy Marlow.

Jim is survived by his two brothers, Junior Baker and Tim (Shelley) Baker; three nephews, Mike (Loretta) Stroud, Sampson Marlow, and Christopher Marlow; a brother-in-law, Bob Marlow and his special extended family at Logan Acres and R.T.C.

Jim was an avid collector of stuffed animals, especially Beanie Babies which he often won playing BINGO at R.T.C. He loved boating and fishing on Indian Lake and “playing” his guitar.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
