Jeannette Anne LeVan, 81, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine.
She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on April 27, 1941, the daughter of the late Ralph David and Imogene (Graham) English. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael LeVan Sr.
She is survived by two sons; Michael (Kelly) LeVan II of Bellefontaine and Jeff (Melissa) LeVan of Alger, four grandchildren; Dana Mullins, Michael LeVan III, David (Emma) LeVan, and Austin (Cheyanne) LeVan, seven great grandchildren; Sarah, Jacob, Aaron, David, Daniel, Dexter, and Austin, a sister, Kathy (Tim) Latimer, a nephew, David (Krickett) Kuntz and a niece, Ami (Mark) Harshfield.
Jeannette was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Bellefontaine and worked primarily as a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook and terrific baker, especially pies. She was also an avid reader.
Father Shawn Landenwitch will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 316 E. Patterson Ave., Bellefontaine, OH 43311. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 11 to 1 pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, OH. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. Patrick Catholic Church, 321 E. Patterson Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
