Judith K. Roberts

Judith “Judy” K. Roberts, 80, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 10:47 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2021, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born in Springfield, Ohio August 10, 1940, a daughter of the late Frank and Lorena (Kerns) Daniels.

On June 27, 1959, she married Richard L. “Dick” Roberts and he preceded her in death in 2007.  She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Breanne Roberts and a brother, Jim Daniels.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Jim) Pile of Fairborn, Ohio; a son, Barry (Ginny) Roberts of Urbana, Ohio; four grandchildren, Katie (Dan) Detmer, Tim Pile, Aaron (Monica) Eli and Shelby (John) Whitehead; two great grandsons, Cameron Detmer and Wesley Eli and one on the way; two sisters, Marge Campbell and Jackie Brooks and several nieces and nephews.

Judy graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1958 and had worked several places including Anderson Ford in Bellefontaine, where she retired from in 1986.  She enjoyed reading and exercising on the walking track in Blue Jacket Park.  She loved her family and the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren.

Pastor Mark Daniels, her nephew, will officiate a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at the Bellefontaine Cemetery Thursday, July 22, 2021.
