Julia Rose Yoder, 73, of West Liberty, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Green Hills Care Center after a four year courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 3, 1943, the daughter of Clarence O. Yoder and Grace Brenneman Yoder. She is survived by; a sister, Patricia Yoder of West Liberty; two aunts, Roselle Kauffman of West Liberty and Ada Brenneman of Delphos; an uncle, Wendell Miller of Lima; and many special cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Julia attended West Liberty School and was a faithful member of Bethel Mennonite Church. She enjoyed volunteering at Daily Bread and Global Crafts for many years. She liked to cross-stitch quilts, eight of which she donated for Adriel Auctions. She enjoyed traveling, playing her auto harp, doing puzzles and visiting people on her daily walks. Everyone enjoyed her humor and positive attitude.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty, Ohio. Pastor Duane Beck will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 6th at the Bethel Mennonite Church, 416 Washington Street, West Liberty with visitation from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
