Larry Dean Smith

Larry Dean Smith, 74, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on August 30, 1948, the son of the late Phillip M. and Bette Jean (Blair) Warner Smith.  He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Smith, Gary Smith, and Keith Smith.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Smith of Bellefontaine, and four brothers: Steven Smith of Lakeview, Jerry Smith of Apopka, FL, Gregory Smith of West Liberty, and Mark (Tammy) Smith of Bellefontaine, numerous nieces and nephews, and his cat, Cat.

Larry worked in waste management at the Honda Manufacturing facilities.  He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and NASCAR’s, Jeff Gordon, and enjoyed fishing.

Pastor Alex Dye will officiate a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, West Liberty.
