Lewis Talford Argabright

L. Talford Argabright, age 72, of Jackson Center, Ohio passed away at 5:02 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at Heritage Manor Nursing & Rehab Center in Minster, Ohio.

He was born September 2, 1949, in Piqua, Ohio, a son of the late Lewis Argabright and Rowena (Rosell) Mohler. He was also preceded in death by his infant grandson, Oliver Hershberger; his stepfather, Lowell Mohler and beloved mother-in-law, Lucille Klopfenstein.

Talford married his former wife, Carol Ann (Klopfenstein) Argabright August 1, 1970 and she survives along with their three children, Darren (Jennifer) Argabright, Trena Hershberger, and Karen (Wesley) Fambrough; four grandchildren, Evan Argabright, Megan Argabright, Marin Argabright, and Owen Hershberger; three siblings, Haldon Argabright, Valerie Argabright, and Daleen (Nick) Braun and five nieces and nephews, Tia, Rachel, Tyler, Chad, and Travis.

Talford retired from Hubbard Feed, but his two main passions were farming and his faith. He possessed an innate thirst for obtaining knowledge and was always reading about current events. Talford loved the Cleveland Browns, The Ohio State Buckeyes and Ford vehicles.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center. Pastor Schultz will lead a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
