Linda Ann Hertenstein

Linda Ann Hertenstein, 77, of Bellefontaine and formerly of Rushsylvania, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Logan Acres Care Center. She was born in Bellefontaine on February 26, 1947, to the late Boyd “Duke” and Phyllis Eileen (Harrod) Stanfield.  

She leaves behind her son, Shane Hertenstein of Bellefontaine; her sister, Marsha Bordner of Port Clinton; and her nephew, Jonathon Bordner of Fremont. She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Harold Brown and her nephew, Seth Bordner. 

Linda graduated from the Lima School of Nursing then went on to work at Mary Rutan Hospital for a few years. She then worked at Logan County Health Department for 27 years before retiring in 2002. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, reading, watching movies, and going out to eat with her friends. 

Reverend Kevin Greenwald will officiate a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16^th, 2024,  at the Rushsylvania Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214 or to a humane society/animal rescue of the donor’s choice.
