Linda Kay Neigel

Linda Kay Neigel, 76, of New Carlisle, passed away at 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Momentous Health at Sidney in Sidney, Ohio. She was born in Canton, Illinois on October 17, 1948, a daughter of the late Franklyn Wilson Newton and Audrey Edith (Bybee) Newton.

On December 26, 1977, Linda married Charles "Chuck" Joseph Neigel in Canton, Illinois and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her son, Rodney Neigel; a son-in-law, Gregory A. Smith; and her brother and sister-in-law, Larry (Sally) Newton.

Linda is survived by her four children, Rhonda Edwards, Ann (Alan) Smith, Danny Newton, and Jeff Neigel; five grandchildren, Danielle (Gianni) Riffle, Derick (Brittany) Newton, Abby (Ben) Griffith, Kayla (Caleb) Mansfield, and Ethan Beoletto; eight great grandchildren, Audrey Riffle, Marlee Newton, MavRick Newton, Charlee Mansfield, Amara Mansfield, Gavin Mansfield, Caiden Mansfield, and Maverick Griffith.

Linda attended the International Beauty Academy and enjoyed talking on the phone with her friends and family. She especially loved her cats “Sammy” and “Yellow Belly”.

Per Linda’s wishes, there will be no public services.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Linda’s memory, to any humane society of the donor’s choice.
