Linda K. Schienda

Linda K. Schienda, age 77, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

Linda was born in Garrett, Indiana July 12, 1943, to the late Howard E. and Margaret D. (Ringler) Burtch.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a granddaughter, Courtney Schienda.

Linda married John Schienda June 9, 1963 in Angola, Indiana, and he survives in Bellefontaine.  She is also survived by children, Terry Schienda of Urbana, Ohio, James (Holly) Schienda of DeGraff, Ohio and Michelle (Shawn) Harrington of Bellefontaine and three grandchildren, Kiersten, Madison and Lucas.

Linda was a bus driver for Tri-County CAC for many years and was also a test driver at TRC.  She enjoyed going to the casino and loved playing BINGO.  Linda was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed watching basketball.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.  Due to current pandemic orders, please be symptom free, practice social distancing and consider wearing a mask.

A private family burial will be held at the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania, Ohio.
