Lois Jean Rose

Lois Jean Rose of Belle Center, Ohio passed away at Logan Acres on November 23, 2020.

She was born in Kenton, Ohio on January 14, 1939.  On August 31, 1958 she married William David Rose and he survives.

Known as Jean, she is also survived by her children, Jeff  (Rose) Rose, Lori Rose and Cheryl (Dan) Lightle, her grandchildren, Jennifer (LT.Col. Justin) Capper, Kyle (Mary) Rose, Brandon (Rachel) Lightle, Rev. Abby Lightle,  her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alyssa and Lindsey Capper, Eli and Dawson Lightle, her sister Joan McNutt, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thelma and Emery Johnston and her sister Janice Quay.

Jean was a member of the Eastern Star and the Belle Center United Presbyterian Church. She was instrumental in the establishment of “Feeding God’s Children” program through the Belle Center United Presbyterian Church.

She loved all the holidays, but especially this time of year, by extensively decorating her home. She enjoyed spoiling all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her smile and loving nature were infectious and will be remembered by all.

Jean’s family especially thanks the entire staff of Logan Acres that cared for her with love and considered her a member of their family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
