Michael Joseph Snow, 55, and Linda Joy Snow, 53, both of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, as the result of a motorcycle accident near Gila River, Arizona.

Mike was born on October 27, 1953, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Lyle Joseph and Lois D’Nell (Aten) Snow, whom survive in Kenton, Ohio. Also surviving are 2 sons, Dustin (Molly) Snow of Sidney, Ohio, and Drew Snow of Dola, Ohio; 3 sisters, Kathryn (Dale) Dirmeyer of Dunkirk, Ohio, Jill (David) Woodsmall of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Rebecca Schultz of St. Petersburg, Florida. A daughter, Erin Karyl Snow, preceded Mike in death on December 9, 1981.

Lin was born on July 11, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Harold James “Jim” and Dorothy (Johns) Henning. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy, of Columbus, Ohio; 2 sons, Collin (Katelyn) McClanahan of New Boston, Michigan, and Ryan McClanahan of Bellefontaine; 2 sisters, Kim (Mark) Perfect of Columbus, Ohio, and Laura (Tom) Burroughs of Elburn, Illinois. Her father Jim, preceded her in death on February 2, 2009.

On August 23, 2007, Mike and Lin were married in Bellefontaine. He worked for the Central Ohio Youth Center in Marysville, Ohio, as a teacher & computer tech coordinator. Lin was a dental hygienist for Logan Dental in Bellefontaine.

Mike was a 1972 graduate of Lima Senior High School and a 1977 graduate of The Ohio State University. Lin was a 1973 graduate of Whetstone High School in Columbus and also a 1977 graduate of The Ohio State University. Mike was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kenton. Both were members of the Discovery Riders where Mike was the former executive director and Lin was an instructor. They were also members of the Valley High Ski Club. Mike served as a ski instructor at Mad River Mountain and Mansfield Snow Trails, while Lin served as a Ski Patrol at Mad River Mountain.

Calling hours are Thursday, February 12, 2009, from 3 until 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Pastor Craig Mansfield will conduct the funeral service at 12 noon on Friday, February 13, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Kenton with one hour of visitation before the service. Burial for Mike will follow in Grove Cemetery in Kenton, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Marmon Valley Farm 7754 State Route 292 Zanesfield, Ohio 43360.
