Norma Jean Reames

Norma Jean Reames, 71, of Lakeview, passed away at 10:56 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born in Logan County, Ohio on December 25, 1950, a daughter of the late Norman Eugene and Effie Alfreda (Gates) Reames.

Norma is survived by her son, Anthony Mortimore; grandson, Alexander Mortimore; two great grandchildren; three siblings, Jeff (Mary) Reames, Greg (Wendy DeRossett) Reames, and Steve (Ruby) Reames; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog “Zoey”. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by a brother Cliff Reames.

Norma had worked at Verizon in Marion prior to her retirement.

Per Norma’s request, there will be no public services.
