Patricia Diane Wallace

Patricia Diane Wallace, age 85, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home. She went to be with the Lord on January 26th of 2024. Pat was born in Huntsville, Ohio on May 18th, 1938. She was the daughter of Algy and Marie McBride.

On December 21st of 1956, Pat married her beloved late husband Max and was happily married for 50 years. They were married at the First Christian Church. They raised two daughters in the comfort of their home in Huntsville where the family loved to gather.

She was a proud retiree of Huntsville Elementary School for 40 years, where she served as secretary and administrative assistant before retiring in 2004. Pat and Max were owners of M&G Body Shop and Lake Auto Parts. She was active in the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild, member of the Valente Circle of King’s Daughters, and a member of the First Christian Church.

Relatives and friends could always count on a warm welcome and a shoulder to lean on. Pat was the first to help someone as soon as they would need support. She was a great friend and enjoyed spending time with those whom she loved and held dear to her heart.

Patricia is preceded in death by her late husband, Max Wallace, her two brothers: James Michael (Pat) McBride, Algy (Annelies) McBride; her two sisters: Phyllis (Ron) Robison, and Kay (Jerry) Williams. Still living are her sister, Dolores (Herb) Mustaine of Phoenix AZ; sister-in-law, Pat McBride of Bradenton FL and sister-in-law Sybil (Carl) Wallace of Huntsville, OH.

She was the proud mother of Debbie (Steve) Oberdier of Bellefontaine, OH and Brenda (Brad) Yoho of Powell, OH. She was grandmother to six grandchildren Ryan Cooper, Erin (Jeremy) Titus, Keisha Lombardo, Bo (Lindsay) Hofmann, Matt (Frannie) Yoho, and Sarah (Jordan) Leopold.
