Philip William Kuhn

Philip William Kuhn, 66, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at The Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born January 14, 1955, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, a son of Viola Joan (Cordrey) Bishop and the late George Howard Kuhn.

On August 23, 1975, Phil married the former Kathy Lyn Brunke in Bellefontaine and survives, along with four children, Chad Kuhn, Brad Kuhn, Justin Kuhn and Stacy Kuhn; five grandchildren, Alexander, Talena, Seth, Kane (Linsey) and Karter; five great grandchildren, Adi, Aurora, Keaton, Anthony and one on the way; a sister, Barbara J. (Brandon) Butler; two brothers, G. Howard (Christal) Kuhn and John D. Kuhn; his mother-in-law, Maxine Brunke and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Phil had worked at DAB for twelve years before beginning a thirty six year career at AGC in Bellefontaine. He attended the Dayton School of Broadcasting, was an avid Ohio State football fan and enjoyed gardening, canning, woodworking and teaching others what he knew.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine, where Rev. Kevin Greenwald will officiate the funeral service at 4:00 p.m.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
