Rheta M. Emrick, 87, of Bellefontaine passed on to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 24, 1937, in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Harry and Irene (Parmer) Robinaugh.
On June 7, 1974, she married Mark LeRoy Emrick, and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1999. She is also preceded in death by her sonMike (Anita) Day, her daughter, Melanie White and her beloved dog, Toby.
She leaves behind her children: Ranae (Bill) Tracey, Tina Emrick Gardner, Sherry (Tim) Currie, Terry (Debbie) Kipker, Todd Kipker and Mark (Melissa) Emrick, Jr.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Rheta was a member of the Bellefontaine First Church of God and Modern Woodman Fraternity. She enjoyed traveling and shopping, especially antiquing. She loved to be outside gardening and watching the birds.
There will be a funeral service for Rheta at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice, 921 Rush Ave, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
