Richard Leslie Sharon

Richard Leslie Sharon, age 74, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born in Columbus, Ohio January 14, 1947, to the late Wesley F. and Marie (Rice) Sharon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Shaw) Sharon in 2000; a stepson, Kevin Stein and a brother, James Sharon.

He is survived by a stepson, Steven (Jaclyn) Stein and children: Tia, Spencer, and Olivia Stein; a step daughter-in-law, Sandra Stein and children: Barbara Stein and Alec Berry; a brother, William (Lorraine) Sharon; many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Pat Miller.

Richard was a member of the Moose Lodge, VFW, Eagles, and a former member of the Elks, all in Bellefontaine. He retired from Siemens after many years and enjoyed taking care of his garden.

Father Shawn Landenwitch will officiate the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held two hours prior from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
