Rick Robison

Rick Robison, 69, passed away peacefully at 7:51 a.m. on December  12, 2022, at his Bellefontaine home. He was born on February 23, 1953, to Carl and Martha Robison in Bellefontaine, OH. Rick graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1971.

Rick is survived by his wife of 41 years, Becky Robison and four children, Parker (Lindsey) Robison, Colin (Morgan) Robison of Clarksville, TN, Bailey Robison, and Morgan Robison. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren which he enjoyed spending time with, Maxton, Hayes, Ava, and Hadley Robison. He is also survived by his sister Jacquie (Randy) Weller, brother-in-law Tim (Dawn) Hennessy, and many nieces and nephews.

Rick was known for always having a pipe in his hand and his sharp shooting skills. Rick began in the firearms industry in 1973 at Wammes Guns which later became Acusport Corporation. He then dedicated 45 years of his life to the industry serving in many roles as a well-respected businessman at the Acusport company. Rick was an avid hunter and enjoyed traveling the world through many wild game expeditions.

Rick was also known for his green thumb and his plentiful garden. He enjoyed spending his free time restoring antique Farmall tractors, caring for the livestock on the farm, driving his Rolls Royce around the neighborhood, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Old Pat’s Society and always looked forward to their yearly gatherings. Rick will be remembered fondly by his friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street in Bellefontaine. Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery in Union Township, Ohio.
