Robert J. Jackson

Robert J. “Bobby” Jackson, age 82, of DeGraff, Ohio passed away at 12:55 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

He was born in DeGraff April 15, 1938, to the late Robert E. and Martha E. (Wert) Jackson. His sister, Judy McCafferty also preceded him in death.

In 1984, he married Lina Hengsteler and she survives. He is also survived by a step-daughter, Lorna Rolfe; a brother, Bub (Lynda) Jackson and very special cousins, David and Jean Jackson.

Bobby was a 1957 graduate of DeGraff High School.  He previously served as a policeman for the town of DeGraff and was a truck driver for over forty years.  Bobby enjoyed driving truck and worked for several different companies through his years. He enjoyed gardening and bird watching. All who loved and knew Bobby will miss him.

It was Bobby’s wish to be cremated and a private burial take place at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
