Robert E. “Bob” Myers, age 76, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio surrounded by his family.
He was born May 22, 1943, a son of the late Arthur and Helen (Poland) Myers. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen “Sis” Hudson; a brother, Art Myers; a sister-in-law, Eileen Myers and a brother-in-law, Gerald Hudson.
Bob is survived by his three daughters, Bobbi Myers, Jamie Myers, and Toni Myers; eight grandchildren, Kaley McDaniel, MacKenzie (Jeramy) Fitzpatrick, Ericka (Cody) Snyder, Demond Parker, DeWaine Davis, Deshon Parker, Taizha Collier, and Amaya Diallo; two sisters, Ginny Myers and Jennifer Wemple; three brothers, Bill “Popeye” Myers, Jim Myers, and John (Teri) Myers; a sister-in-law, Nora Myers; a special friend, Janet Kesecker and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A 1961 graduate of Indian Lake High School, Bob retired from Rockwell in Kenton. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals. He loved being outdoors working in his garden and flower beds.
Per Bob’s wishes, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire, Ohio on a later date.
The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
