Ronald Lee Murray

Ronald Lee Murray, age 74, of DeGraff, Ohio passed away December 20, 2021, at his home surrounded by the love of his life.

He was born April 25, 1947, in Logan County Ohio, the son of the late Roy Vere and Agnes May (Holycross) Murray. Also preceding him in death was his son, Ronald C. Murray; a granddaughter, Alysha L. Murray; a great-grandson, Colton A. Jones along with many others.

He is survived by his wife Barb Murray whom he married April 6, 1995; a son, David Richwine of DeGraff and daughters Kim (Brad) Fisher of DeGraff, Mary (Jeff) Evilsizor of Mechanicsburg, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ron was a graduate of Logan Hills School, a member of FFA and 4-H. He went onto become an advisor of his children’s 4-H club and was a great part of the Logan County and Ohio State Fair. He loved farming and worked construction his whole life. Many memories were made on trips to Tennessee and Holmes County, he loved the mountains. Ron loved his family and friends; he always had an ear to listen and a hand to help. He will be missed by all who loved him.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff, where Reverend Jay Williams will officiate a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Ron will be taken home to be with his loving wife per his wishes.
