Rose Marie (Stockwell) Friley, age 69, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away March 24, 2022, at Ayden Healthcare of Belle Springs in Bellefontaine.

She was born in Marion, Ohio March 3, 1953, to the late Walter Austin Stockwell and Vella Ruth (Sams) Stockwell. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Leroy Kissling; her second husband, William Lowell Rogers; her third husband, Robert Lee Friley; and brothers: Dwight Eugene Stockwell and Lester Lee Stockwell.

She is survived by her children: Lori Ann Legge, Jeffery Leroy Kissling, and Candace Marie Langevin; step-daughter, Elizabeth Wolford; grandchildren: Austin Lee and Adrena Nicole Legge, Katrina Marie Hudelson, Samantha Ann and Amanda Marie Minger; great-grandchildren: Linkoln Bucklin, Sophia and Leia Herron; a special niece, Laura Velazco; special friends: Glenna Theis, Sharon Burton, and Trish Kessler (4 musketeers) and all of her friends at the Logan County Senior Center who took her in from the beginning as she was one of their own; and her cat, Miss Grey, who she loved dearly.

Rose enjoyed wolves, watching hummingbirds, butterflies, and especially the oriole she called “Boss Bird” and used to talk to outside on the patio. She liked playing cards, watching the Golden Girls on television, but most of all she loved spending time with her family that will miss her dearly.

Rose looked forward to the time the following prophecy would be fulfilled: Isaiah 11:6 –

“The wolf will reside for a while with the lamb, and with the young goat the leopard will lie down, and the calf and the lion, and the fattened animal will all be together; And a little boy will lead them.”

A private burial will take place at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire, Ohio.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Ayden Healthcare of Belle Springs for their kindness and care over the past year.
