Sharon Kay Stewart, age 81, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at her residence.
Sharon was born in Bellefontaine, OH on November 12, 1943, the daughter of the late Charles William and Maxine Frances (Kirkwood) Stewart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Stewart, on April 26, 2023, her uncle and aunt, Junior & Pat Stewart and cousins, Ron & Patty Stewart.
She is survived by her cousins, Scott (Nancy) Stewart, Kim (Duane) Meek, Mark (Nancy) Stewart, Angela (Jason) Smith, J.R. (Bryn) Stewart, and good friends, Dave & Janice Michaels.
Sharon was a 1962 graduate of West Liberty Salem High School and worked for Siemens in Bellefontaine until her retirement in 2000. She enjoyed working with and creating arts and crafts, baking, horses, and caring for her cats. She spent a lot of her time caring for her beautiful property, Twilight Acres, where she was dedicated to her impressive flower garden and her manicured lawn.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service at 1:00pm on Monday, May 19, 2025, in the Gazebo of Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Schmidt and his staff, Universal Home Health & Hospice and her caretaker, Pam Morgan, for their wonderful care of Sharon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Animal Shelter, 284 County Road 32 S, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
