Sue E. Campbell

Sue E. Campbell, 78, of Bellefontaine passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at her residence.

She was born in Springfield, Ohio February 7, 1942, a daughter of the late Harold E. and Mildred Lucille (Ottenfelt) Townsend.

On April 27, 1968, she married Donald W. Campbell in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death February 24, 2005.  She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Wesley Kenneth Campbell and Lynea Snow Campbell; a sister, Elizabeth Shoudys and a brother, James Townsend.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Jennifer Campbell of West Liberty, Ohio; two grandchildren, Alec Cardosa and Virginia Cardosa; two great grandchildren, Tisa and Brendan; a sister, Marilyn Trinkle of Springfield; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Warren and Cheryl Campbell of Alexandria, Ohio many nieces and nephews.

After graduating from high school Sue worked as a typist for Merchants Industries.  She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine and enjoyed bowling and loved her animals.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Pastor Larry Novak will officiate the funeral service Monday, December 21, 2020 at 12 noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield.
