William Chambers


William Darrell Chambers, 71, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009, at his residence. He was born December 4, 1937 in Macfarlan, West Virginia. He was adopted and raised by the late Eulah Chambers Miller. One brother preceded him in death.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Lori Ann (Guy R.) Blauser of Powell, Ohio, and Mary Beth (Greg) Chambers-Woods of Bowling Green, Ohio; and 3 grandchildren, Mitchell & Trevor Blauser & Vivvy Woods.

He was a sheet metal worker, working in the Springfield and Dayton, Ohio area. A United States Marine veteran, he was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Association and the American Legion. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, traveling and being with his grandchildren.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will conduct a memorial service at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with one hour of visitation prior to the service, where the Logan County Honor Guard will perform military services. There will be a Celebration of Life Dinner after the memorial service, at the Elks Lodge 221 N Main St. in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
