Wyatt Alan Strickland

Wyatt Alan Strickland, 50, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.

He was born on March 5, 1972, to his father and mother, Stephen and Jean Strickland in Urbana, Ohio.

Wyatt was an active member of Grace Chapel church for 35 years. Wyatt was employed as an engineer for most of his career and worked in many fields including Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, and Plastic Packaging technologies.

In Wyatt’s spare time, he enjoyed working on and repairing a wide variety of mechanical things. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed the outdoors. He believed in living life to the fullest and did so with his main focus being on that of bringing glory to God.

Wyatt is survived by his parents; his wife Laura (Bilimek-Grime) whom he married on January 20, 2017; his stepson Devin Grime; his four children from his first marriage Weston (Liz Miller) Strickland, Alyssa (Cameron) Ward, Samuel (Jocelyn) Strickland, and Victoria Strickland; his four grandchildren Braydon, Hudson, Lincoln, and Luke; his brother Wade (Amanda) Strickland.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.

Pastor Zach Dudenhofer will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
