Diane Marie Mosbarger, 78, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Diane was a daughter of the late Harry and Marian McDonald and was born September 17, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio.
On February 29, 1964, Diane married David Mosbarger and he survives along with her two children Kathy (Ron) Bartlebaugh of Mount Vernon, Ohio and Mike (Stephanie) Mosbarger of Bellefontaine. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren Zach (Taylor) Mosbarger of Orlando, Florida, Petey, Mindy and Daulton (Bailey Scott) Mosbarger of Bellefontaine and a beautiful great granddaughter, Collins Mosbarger of Orlando, FL. She also leaves behind two loving sisters, Mary Stern (Ron Whitman) of Naples, Florida and Rita Craven of Greencastle, Pennsylvania as well as sister-in-law, Sue McDonald of Columbus. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Garry McDonald; a brother-in-law, Harold Stern; a nephew, Cary McDonald and a niece, Beth McDonald.
Diane retired from Colonial Federal Savings Bank in 1996 and enjoyed spending time traveling the country with Dave. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland sports teams. In recent years Diane worked in the childcare room at the YMCA. Diane loved to spend time with her family and especially her grandchildren and watching them in all of their sports/activities. She was a devoted and loving wife, mom, grandmother, sister and friend. She was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Father Shawn Landenwitch will officiate a memorial Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. Calling hours will be held Monday, March 29, 2021 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
