Obituary

Janice K. Cooper, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 2:00 a.m. on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Green Hills Care Center in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born on November 8, 1948, a daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn (Walker) Cousins.

Janice is survived by her granddaughter, Erica (Garrett Tyler) Cooper, and Garrett’s son Cadence Tyler.

A graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Janice retired from the Transportation Research Center where she had worked as an administrative assistant. She was a special lady who meant so much to so many people. Janice was an animal advocate, grandmother, and friend who gave endless advice and love to so many people. She was proud to serve as a board member for Rascal Charities, Logan County Animal Haven, and Top of Ohio Pet Shelter over the years. Her love and compassion for animals made her granddaughter, Erica, the animal lover she is today.

Per Janice’s request, there will be no public services.
