Obituary

Mary E. (Snyder) Cost, 94, of West Liberty and formerly of Rushsylvania, died at 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Green Hills Assisted Living in West Liberty, Ohio.  She was born June 17, 1926 in Logan County, Ohio to the late Paul A. and Alice E. (Rodabaugh) Snyder.

Mary graduated from West Liberty High School and on June 29, 1947 she married her high school sweetheart, Arral B. Cost at Stony Creek Church near DeGraff, Ohio.  Mary's husband, father, mother, 2 sisters and 3 brothers preceded her in death, as well as 3 nieces and 2 nephews.

Mary was such a kind, wonderful woman who was deeply loved and will be missed by her surviving family members, four generations of nieces and nephews.  Mary was an avid lover of animals and raised Golden Retrievers during her married life.  She was a member of the American Kennel Club and the Logan County History Center.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
