Norman Eugene McClain, age 52, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Monday morning, July 27, 2020, at his home.
Norm was born in Ohio August 20, 1967, to the late Ronald C. and Deloris “Jane” (Argabright) McClain. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Flick and a brother, Kennard “Alex” Shepard.
Norm is survived by his children, Tiffany McClain Grow of Bellefontaine, Mindy (Seth Legge) McClain of West Liberty, Ohio and Norman (Emily) McClain Jr. of Bellefontaine; ten grandchildren, Hunter, Aubrey, Zach, Levi, Kaelyn, Makinzy, Brylynn, Banner, Mayce and Julie; siblings, Ronald C. (Tami) McClain of Crossville, Tennessee, William McClain of Bellefontaine, Janie (Anthony) Escamilla of Bellefontaine, Duane A. (Michelle) McClain of Bellefontaine, and Jimmy Brown; many nieces and nephews and his ex-wives, Karen Foust, Holly Lazenby and Robin Pool.
A Veteran of the United States Navy, Norm worked for Honda of America at the East Liberty plant for many years. He loved riding his motorcycle, doing tattoo work, guns and hunting. Norm’s kids and grandkids were special to him and he enjoyed the time spent together. He was also a former West Liberty Police Officer under Chief Ron Murray.
Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine Saturday, August 1, 2020, from noon to 2 p.m. where John James will lead Norm’s Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m.
Military honors will follow the service provided by members of the Logan County Honor Guard.
