Ronald B. Brown, 81, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Tuesday evening, June 8, 2021, at Grandview Medical Center – Kettering Health System.

Ron was born in West Mansfield, Ohio August 31, 1939, to the late Carol Otis and Gertrude Ellen (Garwood) Brown.  He was also preceded in death by two nieces.

Ron married Connie Bailey August 30, 1958 in Bellefontaine, and she survives in DeGraff, Ohio.  He is also survived by their children: Terri (Bob) Cook of DeGraff, Chris (Dianna) Brown of Bellefontaine and Todd (LeeAnn) Brown of Urbana, Ohio; five grandchildren: Kacey (Brad) Adams, Tom Cook, Zach (Erin) Brown, Logan (Chelsea) Brown and Dax (Hannah) Brown; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Dick Brown of Columbus Grove; sisters: Marty Brown of Lima, Ohio, Katie (Adam) Oatman of Sebring, Florida, Sheree (Ron) Knippen of Fort Jennings and Debbie (Dave) Dunlap of Elida and several nieces and nephews.

Ron worked as a forklift operator for Super Foods for forty three years before retiring in 2001. He also coached Little League baseball in Bellefontaine for many years. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid trap shooter. Ron was a long-time NRA member and was a New York Yankees fan since 1947.

Ron was loved by his family and will be dearly missed by all. 

A private celebration of life for Ron will be held at a later date.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Brown family.
